Getting started as a School Administrator
Your first sign-in, the dashboard, the setup checklist and the order in which to set up your school.

School profile and branding
School name, address, contacts, crest, motto and colours used on the website, report cards, receipts and ID cards.

Sessions and terms
Create the academic session and its three terms, set the current term, and roll over to a new session.

Classes, arms and subjects
Set up Nursery, Primary, JSS and SSS classes with their arms, attach subjects and electives, and assign class teachers.

Teachers, staff and roles
Add teachers and non-teaching staff, create roles such as Bursar or Vice Principal with exact permissions, and manage leave and tasks.

Students and parents
Admit students singly or in bulk, understand admission numbers, link parents, and handle transfers, promotion, roll numbers and ID cards.

Attendance and timetable
Daily attendance registers, corrections, student leave, holidays and the class and teacher timetables.

Continuous assessment and exams
Set up the termly CA and examination structure, grading scale and exam timetable, track mark entry and publish results.

Results and report cards
Choose a report-card template, complete remarks and traits, preview and print termly report cards, and release them to parents.

Fees and payments
Set termly fees per class, record cash and bank payments, enable Paystack for online payment, give discounts and follow up outstanding balances.

Announcements and communication
Publish announcements to the whole school, a class or staff, send push notifications, and manage the student diary and contact enquiries.

Edit your public website — homepage banner, About, programmes, gallery, news and events, contact details, theme and the Download our app section.

Custom domain
Point your own domain (e.g. www.myschool.sch.ng) at your SEMS website, verify the DNS records and get HTTPS automatically.
